Healing Humans

Human Physiotherapy is where PhysioFi began. After graduating from the University of Hertfordshire Fiona went to work for the NHS and private sector across numerous fields. Whilst doing this she set up PhysioFi and started working for herself.

Her wealth of knowledge gained during this time, combined with being a registered member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health and Care Professions Council, ensures that you are in the most skilled and experienced hands when it comes to choosing a physiotherapist.

Physiotherapy’s aim is to decrease pain, rehabilitate from injury or a surgical operation, optimise functionality and help prevent any further injuries or deterioration. The bonus of treating humans is that you can actually tell us where it hurts, unlike our canine or equine companions!

Some of the conditions we treat include (but are not limited to):

  • Neck pain, including whiplash.
  • Back pain.
  • Shoulder, arm, and hand pain/injury.
  • Pelvis, hip, knee, ankle, foot, leg, pain/ injury.
  • Sporting injuries/sprains/pain.
  • Work-related injuries.
  • Degenerative joint disease such as arthritis.
  • Pre/Post-surgery.
  • Neurological rehabilitation and long-term management advice.
  • Breathlessness management.

These symptoms and their underlying causes can be treated in a number of ways.

Some of our treatments include (but are not limited to):

  • Soft tissue and/or joint mobilisation.
  • Functional rehabilitation.
  • Taping techniques.
  • Cryotherapy advice.

So, if you have been advised by a doctor to seek physiotherapy treatment, you are suffering from any of the above symptoms, or you are just in pain and would like some help and advice then please contact PhysioFi via our contact page and let us know how we can help you.
